Available to speak in the following areas of the Archdiocese: Mid-valley
Bio:
I am a priest because of many people praying the rosary for me--starting with my German Grandma Fecher! I had a powerful experience of Jesus' love for me when I was 16 years old and knew that God wanted me to be a priest from that day onward. I have always loved the Mass and the Rosary, and now I get to do what I was made for--I am richly blessed!
Ministerial experience:
Pastoral Year at St. Mary Star of the Sea in Astoria, Summer experience with Missionaries of Charity in Ethiopia, Ordained Deacon in 2012 and served that summer at St. Joseph in Salem. Ordained to the priesthood in 2013, served as parochial vicar at St. Pius X in Cedar Mills and St. Cecilia in Beaverton before current assignment as administrator of St. Alice in Springfield.
Educational background:
2 years at Franciscan University of Steubenville, BA in Philosophy & Religious Studies from Mt. Angel Abbey, STB from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, STL from Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, with thesis entitled "Baptism in the Holy Spirit and the New Evangelization in the life of St. Catherine of Siena".
