Bio:
Ruth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of Oregon. She holds a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, a Master in Theological Studies from the University of Dallas, and is also in the doctoral program in ministry at Mt. Angel Seminary. She has worked in community mental health, as a program director and teacher for the Archdiocese, and as an adjunct professor at Concordia University. As a Catholic therapist, Ruth has prepared hundreds of couples for marriage within the Catholic Church. She currently has her own counseling practice where she offers therapy for individuals, couples and families as well as clinical workshops and relationship classes. Clinical specialties include family of origin, bereavement, trauma and relationship issues.
